about us
The Oxbow Water Ski Show Team was founded in 1980 by 24 original members and today consists of 55 members ranging in age from 4 to 65.
The Oxbow Year
The team opens the ski season with "Ice Out" which is the first skiing of the year just after the ice has melted.
In the months of June and July practices are scheduled almost every day and the themed shows take place every Friday night. The season culminates with the Eastern Regional Show Ski Competition on the last weekend in July. Most members continue skiing in August until the weather gets too cold sometime in October.
During the winter months the team members focus on generating new ideas for next years' show, fundraising and looking forward to the next season.

The team's skiing abilities include: Barefooting, Wakeboarding, Swivel Skiing, Jumping, Shoe Skiing, Trick Skiing, Ballet Line, Trios, Conventional and Strap Doubles,Pyramids and more.
