Friday 7/30
12 noon Site opens; Individual acts will be able to practice until 6 pm.
Please launch your boats at the Oxbow Marina, Island Rd Northampton, MA (Off Rt 5) – same place as in the past.
1 PM – Judges Clinic – Hosted by Mark Poulos
6:00 to 7:30- Time allots one Team to practice
8:00- “Meet & Greet” at Oxbow Water Ski Show Team site
Saturday 7/31
8 AM Site Opens

8:00 AM - Please arrive on time
Mandatory meeting with Chief Judge and Show Directors
Per NSSA COMPETITION RULE 6.04 - All rosters and entry forms to be turned in at this time.
Teams must furnish properly completed forms;
Judges’ forms – 11 copies ( 2 copies per Judge one copy for Chief Judge) (rule 2.03) // Scorers’ forms 2 copies (see rule 2.03) // Team Roster – 2 copies with USA Water Ski membership numbers (rule 6.02) // USA Water Ski club affiliation certificate 1 copy (rule 6.01) // NSSA Safety Coordinator -1 copy of the safety coordinator’s card (rule 6.06)// USA Water Ski Towboat Liability Insurance Form – 1 copy // NSSA Safety Director Tracking Report form - 1 copy // Wireless microphone frequency – Give to Chief Judge (rule 9.09) // Club Radio Frequency –give to Chief Judge
9:30 AM-Opening Ceremonies
9:35 AM -Individual Act competition begins
Running order:
1) Swivel 1 (15 and under)
2) Swivel 2 (16 and over, 180 moves only),
3) Strap Doubles (open, national qualifier)
4) Freestyle (national qualifier)
4) Swivel 3 (open,any age, national qualifier)
5) Team Jump (national qualifier)
Medals/trophies to 3 places.
Saturday Team practice Please call or email Cam with your practice time slot preferences
Practice will be held 30 minutes after Individual Act Competition ends. 1.5 hours to each team to include set up and tear down. ASAP a minimum of 2 weeks in advance so that other teams may notify their members of practice times. Ski Hawks have first choice, USWSST has second choice, Holland has third choice and Oxbow has fourth choice.
Sunday 8/1
8:00am-First team in its entirety will meet with the Safety Director at Tournament HQ. The remaining teams will meet with the Safety Director during the preceding team’s 20 minute setup.
8:45-opening ceremonies
9:10-set up time starts for the first team. All teams to follow per NSSA rule 3.04

Official Hotel of the Eastern Region Tournament is The Clarion on Route 5 in Northampton.

Camping is allowed at the site at the far end of the field. Space is limited. We need to reserve space for spectator parking. Please check in with Tournament Directors before setting up camp. Any campers that cannot get into the allocated space can camp across the river at the Oxbow Marina which is also a nice location.
Sound System
Sponsor Supplied Tournament sound system. Teams may use it, feed into it, or set up their own and break down during their setup/breakdown times.
The sound system will be provided by Tim & Karen Braden and daughter Samantha. We thank them for traveling all the way from Virginia to provide us with quality and professional sound year after year!
